Neighborly Love

Raise your hand if you've seen the Jane Seymour/Christopher Reeve classic, Somewhere in Time?  If you have, think back to the scene where she sees him, after thinking she never would again, and screams across the hotel grounds, "RICHARRRRRD!!!!"

Now you have an idea of what's it like nearly every day when our little neighbor, Lisha, sees Millie and wants to play with her.  "Millie!"  And if we happen to be on our way out or on our way in for a nap, instead of able to play in the backyard or up at Lisha's house, the screams quickly reach fever pitch. "MILLIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!"

Lisha and Millie love to swing together in the backyard, as well as ride scooters and trikes around the carport.  They love playing together in general, and both Swati and I love that they can keep each other occupied.  Lisha's an only child, as is Millie during the day while her brothers--or "my boys" as she likes to call them--are at school.  Hip hip hooray for kid neighbors!

I just love fun neighbor friends...doesn't it just make you feel like you're living in your dream neighborhood?
