Bathroom Obsession

Eli would love nothing more than to live in the loo. What could be better than flushing the toilet, reaching for bath toys, eating toilet paper, and pounding on both tub and toilet? Apparently nothing, since I spend most of my day closing bathroom doors to keep him out. Did I mention how much he loves taking baths? Maybe that's the root of his addiction, because the kid flails and screams the second you take him out, and the moment you put him down on the ground he's off and running for that tub again.

Backyard Boys

There's nothing like the sweet peace that accompanies the sound of children playing outside . . . especially when that sound is muffled by a sliding door. We are in backyard heaven right now! I'm sure it will wear off eventually, when the boys tire of playing out there as much as they do now, but until then we are loving it. Grass, trees, swings, slide, cement patio for riding, aaaaaaaah. We've arrived.

34 meets 14

Stephen's birthday just so happened to land on a Wednesday this year, so lucky him, he got a surprise party from the Mia Maids (for mutual that night). Little did he expect a bunch of young women to sneak in the back door, bearing balloons, cake, candy, and snacks, and it may have been the least of his birthday wishes, but he was such a good sport about it. We played games, ate cake and ice cream, and definitely laughed a lot.

Surrounded by boxes

Will the unpacking ever end?!
