I would have never thought Stephen to be the gardener type, although he does seem to be pretty cerebral and methodical. We almost have a garden box ready; we'll see if we make it to an actual garden with things growing in it this year...
Both of our Grandpa's were awesome gardeners and my Dad & Mom have always had gardens...
Although Stephen did acquire those skills/talents somewhat later in his life (at least post-mission...according to MY memories). Well, let me re-phrase that: the opportunities for the skill building happened early on, but the enjoyment factor seemed to set in later.
